My great-grandparents, Bernhard and Betty Benjaminson in Staten Island, New York in about 1920. The child is my father Albert Benjaminson. Bernhard was born in Kuldiga, Betty was born in Sabile, Latvia, they were married in Liepaja, Latvia and emigrated first to South Africa and then to the U.S. in 1906.
